Some of the benefits of membership in Texas Police Association vary based on the level of membership in the Association. Please see below for details.
Law Enforcement (Individually)
Benefits include voting privileges, Training and Education opportunities, subscription to the Bi-Monthly Digital edition of the Texas Police Journal, subscription to the Bi-Annual, A Peace Officer’s Guide to Texas Law available to each member through the Members Section of the TPA website, and $7500 “In the Line of Duty” and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance. ($30.00 Annually)

Agency Affiliate Department
Benefits for each officer include voting privileges, a subscription to the Bi-Monthly Digital edition of the Texas Police Journal, subscription to the Bi-Annual, A Peace Officer’s Guide to Texas Law, $7500 “In the Line of Duty” and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, and Training and Educational opportunities for agencies. ($25.00 per Officer Annually)

Citizen
Benefits include Safer Communities, a subscription to the Bi-Monthly Digital edition of the Texas Police Journal, $3500 Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance and Educational Seminars. ($150.00 Annually)
